I just started reading this series and I LOVE this ship. I loved it on a platonic loyalty kink level even before Bobby's disguise was revealed, and the reveal of the disguise only made it something I shipped-shipped rather than just liking platonically - everything about Winter trusting Bobby and Bobby having her back! Cuddling for warmth/comfort! Bobby begging her commanding officer to take care of her herself if she was ever wounded instead of going to a surgeon. *___*

I know that my ability to prompt scenarios beyond the timeframe of the first book is limited by my not having read further than there yet. I played DA:I for the first time this past year and loved Cassandra and Lavellan together so much. (I played with a mod where I could romance her with a female PC!) Lavellan starts off as this confused and small and non-Andrastian prisoner who disagrees with Cassandra on so many things, but Cassandra puts so much trust and faith in her and so much on the line for her - even with Lavellans who are adamant that they’re not chosen, they’re just doing their best and they happen to be the ones in the position to make this choice. Cassandra is so proud to know her, and backs her up even when she disagrees with Lavellan’s choices! The romance scene is really cute between two characters who are adults and have a day-to-day working relationship that isn’t going to change, but are still just having fun with how charming it is in a way that builds on their friendship. Not to mention their battling together, of course - the ways they can protect each other and fight for each other’s goals (and give Cassandra all the elven swords and shields!), how worried they sound if the other one gets hurt…whoops, I found myself another loyalty kink ship.

Fighting together or hurt/comfort after a battle? Fast desperate you-could-have-died sex, maybe after one has protected the other (loyalty-kink-wise I love dramatic declarations and gestures and someone being someone else's weapon and that sort of thing), or finding somewhere to wash the blood and sweat off themselves/each other and take their time? Taking care of each other's short hair, if you like Lavellan with short or buzzed hair (which I do)? Reading melodrama or smut together?
